JAUSACC is not-for-profit corporation and affiliate of the Association of Bi-Nattional Chambers of Commerce that is committed the creation of trade opportunities and the strengthening of regional, national, and international commercial relationships between the United States and Jamaica. The mission of the Jamaica U.S.A. Chamber of Commerce is “to empower its members to create and promote trade, while strengthening economic and cultural opportunities between J amaica and the United States .”
Launched in March, 2004, JAUSACC has embarked on a series of special events geared towards fostering interaction with members and the general business community. In addition to participating in the Building Bridges Program of the U.S.-Jamaican Embassy in summer of 2004, JAUSACC has hosted various networking events throughout the tri-county South Florida area highlighting the successes of some of its members.
In an effort to identify opportunities of partnership among Jamaican businesses and towards the Florida business community, the JAUSACC intends to focus its mission on the following sectors in the Jamaican business community:
